“Fractal – geometric pattern,
repeated at ever smaller (or larger) scales,
to create self-similar, irregular shapes and surfaces.”
In 2022 we are dedicating ourselves to the conceptual and practical dance research “MOVING FRACTALS”. The research project comprises various phases in which we will illuminate our inner collective processes and examine the external visual potential of our appearance in the combination of movement, material, costuming and urban space. In the long term, the research will serve to initiate future dance performance projects for and in public urban spaces. We would like to develop further in terms of content and aesthetics with the aim of creating new transdisciplinary ways of communicating in public space and further sharpening our artistic movement signature.
The project was divided into 4 phases in which we tried out different materials and forms of movement in indoor and outdoor spaces and in close collaboration with the costume artist Federico Polucci.

Four short films were created as part of the conceptual and dance-physical research.
These will be published gradually over the course of 2023.
In the long term, the research will serve as a starting point for the initiation of future dance performance projects for and in public urban spaces.
